About us
1926 Leonard Gould was established in the Loose area of Maidstone and moved to Pickering Street soon after.
1930’s Early products are known to have been wood components for carpet sweepers and produce packaging.
1939-1945 The company produced munitions boxes, starting a long relationship with MOD contractors. This still exists today.
1944 Incorporation of the company. Over the next three decades performance packaging was developed using metal springs followed by woodwool mouldings and then successive generations of expanded plastic products.

1962 Leonard Gould & Company Ltd. manufactured the first triple wall firbeboard containers in Europe at our Maidstone factory.
2004 Change of owner MBO acquisitions during 2005 and 2006. The company currently has 60 employees employing a wide skill set.
2008 Our online shop has been created on www.gouldcases.com to supply plastic carry cases.
